Through the donations of caring volunteers, GUMC spearheads a monthly meal delivery to community senior citizens.

Sandwich Saturdays
In Bladen County, 35.5% of children are living in poverty, (according to the 2022 County Health Rankings).
This sobering statistic creates an urgent need to assist families with food essentials,
especially during the summer months.
Sandwich Saturdays is a summer feeding mission
of Grace United Methodist Church.
Volunteers visit the homes of school children and distribute bags of easy-preparation sandwiches, fruits, and snacks.

Bladen We Care
GUMC is always receiving donations of non-perishable
grocery items and baby-care essentials
for distribution to those-in-need through the
Bladen We Care food bank.
